IBOS Association celebrates 30 years of growth

International banking association IBOS is delighted to celebrate 30 years of providing clients with world class international cash management services through its network of member banks across the globe, as it continues to evolve in order provide banks with local knowledge on a global scale.

IBOS’ thirtieth year has seen the association demonstrate its resilience and adaptability to the banking market through innovative solutions – such as the online referral portal that changed how businesses operate – and its dedication to prioritising the customer in a changing market.

In 2024, IBOS has welcomed Santander Consumer Bank AG and Rabobank to the network, covering the German and Dutch markets respectively. These new members enrich the association’s strong geographic coverage in Europe, embracing growth and sustainability which aligns with the network’s mission throughout the last 30 years and beyond. IBOS now looks forwards to continued growth in the alliance and expansion of its geographic coverage so that members may better serve their customers across the globe.

Mario Domenico Recchia, Chairman of the IBOS Board, commented, “Over the past 30 years IBOS has grown to become one of the largest international networks of banks, enabling businesses to operate on a global scale. We look forward to continuing our growth and providing our clients with the very best in global cash management solutions.

Last week, IBOS welcomed its members to its ‘Connect & Celebrate’ conference in Strasbourg, kindly hosted by member bank CIC, to recognise 30 successful years of IBOS and to collaboratively discuss global strategic initiatives for its future.

IBOS member banks now provide geographic coverage to clients in 50% of the globe as follows: Bank of Ireland (Ireland), CIC – Credit Mutuel (France), Intesa Sanpaolo Group (Italy, Germany, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia), KBC (Belgium, France, Bulgaria, Czech Rep., Hungary, Slovakia), NatWest (UK), Nykredit (Denmark), Rabobank (Netherlands), Royal Bank of Canada (Canada), Santander Group (UK, USA, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Poland, and South America), Silicon Valley Bank (USA).

Going forward, IBOS will continue to grow its alliance and collaborate with members to modernise the association’s offerings and technologies, to stay ahead of a market that is constantly evolving.
